My approach to seminars
My goal is to make the topic of AI in grant acquisition accessible to as many people as possible.
In my seminars, I show nonprofit organizations – from small associations to international NGOs –, municipalities and universities how to use artificial intelligence to win grant funding for their projects.
Through working with concrete case examples, plenty of fun and learning at eye level, I encourage participants to use ChatGPT and co. to simplify the entire grant acquisition process for their organization.

This seminar offers you a hands-on introduction to using AI when writing grant applications.
You will learn how to save time and improve the quality of your texts with ChatGPT & co. – without having to become a technical expert.

Do it with AI: Practical application of AI tools in grant acquisition
Seminar description
How can artificial intelligence be used meaningfully in grant work, and what should we keep in mind? In this practice-oriented seminar, participants develop a sample project and use it to learn how AI can support target-group analysis, text development, research and presentations. The focus is on two proven methods from grant consulting: creating a target-group persona and building an “application wiki” in the form of an AI-supported knowledge base for funding programs.
At a series of stations, participants try out different use cases in the context of grant applications. Alongside the practical exercises, there is room for discussion of ethical, legal and strategic questions. Ideal for anyone who wants to integrate AI into their grant work.

In-house training on artificial intelligence in grant acquisition
In your organization, too, some team members are probably already experimenting with various AI tools and have found initial approaches to simplifying the application process.
However, the level of knowledge within teams varies widely: while some team members have already integrated AI tools into their daily work as a matter of course and open them first thing in the morning, others have no experience with them at all. Likewise, some team members have years of experience in writing applications, while others are just getting started.
That is why we have developed a training package that harnesses this diversity and brings all participants to a shared level of knowledge.

Plus 19 % VAT. For in-person seminars, additional costs apply for travel, accommodation if required, and the extra time involved. In Lower Saxony, Bremen, Hamburg and Berlin, the surcharge for in-person seminars is +240 €. For in-person seminars outside northern Germany, please send me a message.

2. Preliminary call
Then send me a message with your parameters (e.g. date, duration and budget). The best way to reach me is by email at hallo@mirapape.de. We will arrange a phone call (or a Zoom meeting, whichever you prefer) and talk about the potential collaboration.
3. Written offer
I will write an offer including a seminar plan for the event we discussed. You decide whether or not to accept the offer.
Frequently asked questions
Can the workshop take place online or in person?▾
Since we work directly in the AI tools, I prefer to run online seminars. However, the seminars can also take place in person. For in-person seminars, additional costs apply for travel, accommodation if required, and the extra time involved.
When do the seminars take place?▾
I am flexible with scheduling during the week. In exceptional cases, a weekend or evening date is possible.
Which video conferencing software do you work with?▾
I can provide a Zoom room or adapt to you and use your tool.
Until when can we cancel the date?▾
Up to three weeks in advance without any problems or costs. If you cancel up to seven days before the seminar, 60 % of the fee is due. For later cancellations, the full fee is due unless an alternative date can be found.
Do participants receive a handout or similar for the seminar?▾
I will send you the slides as a PDF file afterwards. I also provide a document with further resources and the links to the chat histories from the seminar.
Will participants work on their own projects in the full-day seminar?▾
No, we will practise the content using realistic case examples so that everyone starts from the same baseline.
Do all participants need their own computer and ChatGPT access?▾
For the introductory seminars, no ChatGPT access is required. For full-day seminars, a personal computer and ChatGPT access are needed.
Can we record the seminar for our archive?▾
Yes, by prior arrangement and with a surcharge on the fee.
